New version of the tables of consumption of graphics cards. In this new version adds several changes that improve the previous version: more precisely measure the quality of the measures, new data added, more graphs cards arranged in different ways, and some more things. There have been many changes, I hope to improve the quality of the data. I hope your comments ...
Updates
main
- Improved accuracy of the data: you can see that the use of many graphic appears larger than it had in previous versions. The reason is that we are beginning to give more weight to measures of the sites that carried out the measurements using Furmark. Actually this consumption will be higher than actual consumption we can find a game, but are closer to a good estimate of maximum consumption graphics, to consider better power to choose.
- Different ways to sort the results in graphs:
- Order
- For generation of graphics 3D consumption peak consumption in idle
- By order of addition of data
- Estimated accuracy data: in parentheses beside the name of the graph. This number considers:
- If specific measures are continuous lines, or were obtained through consumption estimates from
- team total number of web pages used for measurement
- deviation between measures
higher the number, the more reliable measure can be considered. If this number is 1, then it means that only the data found TDP provided by the manufacturer (which is very inaccurate, it is always considerably higher than actual consumption)
- Change of membership that appeared under my name . Now you will see that puts PCSilencioso.com ... soon there will be more news on this subject (one reason why I have not updated this blog much lately ...)
- New (03/05/2009): New update with which we finished with the major update. 3D consumption is now divided into two figures:
- Dark Red: 3D data of peak consumption, obtained by Furmark. Consumption is unrealistic, since the games do not really eat that much graphics. Red
- Live: Consumer typical 3D data, obtained by measuring during the execution of games or 3Dmark.
is curious that in some cases the increase in consumption with Furmark is really high. Charts
