In Argentina 65% of children with cancer is cured and could rise to 80% through early diagnosis, appropriate treatment and comprehensive patient care most of the cases are treated in public hospitals, with a rate of "1,270 and 1,300 new cases per year."
The most common cases are leukemia, with 35% of all cases, brain tumor, 18 and 13% lymphomas.
